PAUA 
These New Zealand made keyrings feature authentic seashell, reflecting the ocean’s beauty at first sight.
 
Paua is prized not only for its beautiful shell but also as a very special New Zealand food delicacy. 
 
The shell has an iridescent blue-green interior and is widely used for jewellery and ornaments.  It is found in rock crevices at extreme low tide. Its botanical family is Haliotidae and genus Haliotids.  Paua grows to a length of about 150mm (6”) and has a couple of close relatives, the Queen or Silvery Paua and the Virgin Paua.
